Terms of Service

Effective 25 May 2026

1. Acceptance

By visiting Dropdog or subscribing to our email digest, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Dropdog is

Dropdog is a discovery platform. We surface boutique brand drops featured on Instagram and link visitors to each brand’s own store. We do not sell products, hold inventory, process payments, or handle shipping. Every purchase is a transaction between you and the brand, governed by that brand’s terms.

3. Brand listings

Brands appear on Dropdog in one of two states:

  • Anchor (unclaimed): we discovered the brand through public Instagram posts and listed it as a reference. The brand operator has not yet claimed or verified the listing.
  • Claimed: a brand operator verified the listing via our claim flow and now manages it themselves.

Anchor brands are not charged any fee and are not shown commercial placements. Brand operators who do not want their brand listed may request permanent removal at any time; see /brand-takedown.

4. Email digest

Subscribers receive a bi-weekly email summarising new drops. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link in compliance with CAN-SPAM and equivalent laws. We do not sell or rent subscriber email addresses.

5. Verified Savings

Some drops carry a “Verified Savings” badge. This indicates that, based on the public price history we have observed for the product, the listed was-price held at that level on at least 14 distinct days within the last 60 days. The badge is a mechanical check, not a guarantee: storefronts can change pricing at any time, and the badge reflects historical data, not current promotional intent.

6. No purchases on Dropdog

Clicking a drop card or “View” button redirects you to the brand’s own store. We do not collect payment information, ship products, or accept returns. All purchase, refund, and shipping disputes are between you and the brand.

7. Brand claim process

Brand operators who wish to claim an anchor listing receive a signed claim link by email. Completing the claim transfers editorial control of the brand profile to the operator and creates a brand operator account. Operators may update the brand description, request removal, or sign out at any time.

8. Intellectual property

Brand names, logos, product photos, and product copy are the property of their respective owners. We display them under nominative fair use to identify and discuss publicly available storefronts. If you believe content on Dropdog infringes your rights, see §10.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Dropdog is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that product information, pricing, or availability shown on Dropdog is accurate at the moment of your visit; the brand’s own store is the source of truth. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dropdog and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. DMCA, takedown, and disputes

To report copyright infringement, request brand takedown, or raise any other dispute, email hello@dropdog.ai. Brand takedowns are honoured within 7 days of receipt and the brand is added to our permanent suppression list. See /brand-takedown for the request flow.

11. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. We may revise these Terms; the effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Dropdog after a change constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are provided as a plain-language template and are not legal advice. Consult counsel for your own jurisdiction.
